I went with Parazit for my weekly pick. I know this band haven’t been on Warped Tour, but I chose them before Jeff and I decided we were going with a Warped Tour theme. So, get over it. They’re a band that clearly takes a lot of influence from bands like Primus and early Incubus. They fuse those two sounds with the newer genre of metal called Djent. I discovered Parazit while looking for Adrian Terrazas-Gonzalez’s music on Spotify. I saw he performed sax on one of the songs on this album, and decided to check out the rest of the songs. The production and mix is a bit raw, but still a good listen. I feel like this band could be really great if they style was a little more refined, and possibly added some vocals to the mix.
