It’s been a pretty hot and humid Summer here in Southern California, and what’s better than drinking an ice cold beer? Maybe a powerful air conditioner that can mimic the Arctic winds of the North? But we’re not here to talk about AC units because this review is about delicious beer. I know we normally drink IPA’s or some other style of ale, but on hot days like we’ve been having that beer just churns my stomach. Instead of going with the more common lagers from Budweiser and Coors, I thought it would be a good idea to go a little tropical with our pick. So, I traveled South East of the border to the lovely country of Jamaica to pick up a six pack of delicious Red Stripe. With a 4.7% ABV this lager won’t give you an instant buzz, but is great for a day in the sun hanging with friends, or sitting poolside checking out the babes (or dudes). It’s a delicious, refreshing and very smooth beer that will keep you coming back for more. Also, the bottles Red Stripe is served in are the short and stout kind that make you look cooler than those losers drinking Bud Light’s out of “normal” bottles. If you want to know more about Red Stripe and what we rate the beer check out our latest episode of Asinine Radio (Episode 60). Thanks for reading, and go enjoy yourself! Prost!
